THE ISLAND
The villa is named after the nearby island of Tavolara ("Table Mountain") which can be seen directly from the terrace and garden and easily visited by boat. The island has rich history - it is still governed by its own King! - and unmatched natural beauty.
THE VILLA
Featuring a private pool, exotic garden with fruit trees and sun terrace and with stunning views of the sea and Tavolara Island, Villa Tavolara offers air-conditioned accommodation in San Teodoro in the Sardinia Region. The house enjoys an impeccable location, everything you need is within walking distance. Free private parking is available.
The villa consists of two apartments with a separate entrance and is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and free WiFi. The holiday home includes 2 kitchens, one of which equipped with a dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided. Additionally and upon request, Stand-Up paddle board and family kayak are available for guests to rent. Fresh mountain drinking water and toiletries are also provided free of charge.
The spacious swimming pool (9 x 5m), available between April and October, is surrounded by aromatic plants and complemented by two outer showers with hot and cold water, a patio with a sea view and barbecue.

THE BEACH
Additionally, free sun beds and parasols are provided at the semi-private beach, only 5 minutes walk away through an olive grove. The beach tends to be uncrowded even in the highest season as it is only accessible by foot from the neighbouring villas and the nearby hotel.
The area is popular for its beautiful white sandy beaches, including the famous La Cinta beach (20 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by car) and Cala Brandichi (15 minutes by car). Other two beaches are also accessible on foot.
THE AREA
The city center of San Teodoro, a popular summer resort abundant with restaurants, bars and shops, is 7 minutes' walk away. Many restaurants and shops remain open all year around.
Sports opportunities are also abundant, including water sports, tennis, golf and horse riding. You can also enjoy various activities, such as diving, fishing and hiking.
Serenity lovers can reach the nearby mountains in less than 20 minutes. We particularly recommend Monte Nieddu with natural pools and waterfalls and spectacular vistas of the coast, as well as one of the many Nuraghi Rampinu, vestiges of the mysterious and ancient civilisation.
Villa Tavolara is 20 minutes drive from Olbia airport and 15 minutes from the beautiful village of Posada with its medieval castle and winding narrow streets.

We are a cosmopolitan family of four, hailing from Czechia and Poland but currently living in Belgium. Italy being one of our favourite holiday spots, we visited the island for the first time back in 2023 and immediately fell in love with its unspoilt and rough beauty, its hospitable and big-hearted people and world-class food and slow lifestyle. After all, it is one of the world's five "blue zones" for a reason!
